Sterile Processing Career Institute was established in 2007. It was established with the philosophy of providing good quality education along with skills training and certification exam preparation at an affordable price. Since its inception over 100 bright, ambitious students have passed through our doors, leaving a bit of themselves behind as they successfully head off to their first job in the Central Service / Sterile Processing Field. We are proud of the institution they helped build.

Our Instructor

Marcus B. Forrest ST, CSPDT, CSIS, CFER attained his first CSPDT Certification in October 1999.  Immediately after attaining his Certification through CBSPD he was hired in the Sterile Processing Derpartment at Miami Childrens Hospital.  While working at MCH he successfully completed the Surgical Technologist Program at Lindsey Hopkins Technical Education Center. He is a member of various Central Service Organizations and is currently holds several Certifications with the CBSPD.  He has been successfully teaching the Central Service Technician's Program at Miami Children's Hospital since 2007 and has also taught courses at Jackson Memorial Hospital and currently Baptist Hospital.
